Today, August 28, 2026, is the last date to apply for IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2026 for 11,403 Customer Service Associate (CSA) posts in government banks. Eligible candidates who have not submitted their applications can apply online through the official Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) website.The original application deadline was August 21, 2026, but IBPS extended the registration window to August 28. The recruitment is being conducted under CRP CSA-XVI. Candidates can modify applications for two days after registration closes by paying the applicable fee of ?200.Eligibility requirements for CSA postsApplicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a university recognised by the Government of India. The final result must have been declared on or before August 21, 2026.Computer literacy is mandatory. Candidates must have operational knowledge of computer systems and possess a computer certificate, diploma or degree, or have studied computers at school or college level. Applicants must also know the local language of the state for which they apply.The age limit is 20 to 28 years. Candidates must have been born between August 2, 1998 and August 1, 2006, inclusive. SC and ST candidates receive five years’ relaxation, while OBC non-creamy layer candidates receive three years.Revised main examination patternIBPS has changed the Main examination structure for CRP CSA-XVI. The Main exam will have 160 questions carrying 200 marks and will last 125 minutes. Quantitative Aptitude has increased to 40 questions with 35 minutes allotted.The Preliminary exam retains 100 questions for 100 marks across English Language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability, with 20 minutes for each section.• Direct link to apply onlineFees, selection and language testThe application fee is Rs 175 for SC, ST, PwD and ESM candidates and Rs 850 for other categories, including GST.
